Vehicle Details 1965 Oldsmobile 442, 4-speed muncie transmission (newly rebuilt), one-year-only correct engine block, correct "A" cylinder heads, newly rebuilt correct "4 Jet" carb., runs good, engine strong and sounds good, those new gears in the tranny sound great with that whiney sound! Posi rear end (3.42 gears?). The brakes are grabby. There is something wrong with the charging system, in that the battery doesn't recharge when it is being driven. The car is drivable, you just might want to carry a spare battery with you. Needs interior. The paint is about a 4 out of 10. The driver's quarter panel could stand to be replaced if you want to take it to the next level, it's wavy. All of the glass is good, however the windshield leaks. New vintage-style tires, new rear bumper. Hood needs adjusting. This is a 55 year-old car that needs a full restoration or enjoyed as is. Priced to sell! 4-speed! Inspections are encouraged.
