1965 Ford Mustang Convertible project for restoration. Factory V8 car, manual trans. the working power top goes up and down and has a good frame to restore. Has been off road since 1978 , very complete car, uncut dash. Motor is a 289 2 bbl that started easily after prep work and sounds normal, no extra smoke. Car does run and yard drive. I should be able to drive on a tailer. Someone started sanding paint and left it sit so it has surface rust on body panels. Solid frame rails, none need replacement, under the doors not rusted out. Engine bay and battery apron have minimal rust compared to most project we had . Car has some usual mustang rust to repair along with the rockers 1/4s and floors. Check pictures to see work needed. There is always more to do. You may inspect the car at our yard. Clear title on hand, its has the year marked as 1964 . door tag fender vin and title vin all match We sell cars overseas and do help load.
