MG MGB 1965 MGB. Odometer shows 71,000 miles and is believed to be original. Clear Florida title reads mileage "exempt". I purchased this car from a .British couple several years ago with the intent of restoring it but ended up driving it as is instead. Now I have too many projects so I"m letting this one go. Car has great bones and would be a good restoration project of just a driver. Car is mostly original with the exception of the aftermarket CD player and speakers with aux. input. Car runs and drives good, has been converted to 12 volt negative ground .electric. Engine is original to car and runs strong with no smoke, noise or leaks. Transmission shifts properly, clutch is tight. Brakes work great. Wheels are not original, tires have good tread but are aged. All lights, instruments, and gauges work properly. Interior is nice with no defects in dash pad, seat covers and carpet are in good condition. Windows all in good shape and work properly. Convertible top frame is in great shape and top is new. This car was originally British racing green, has been repainted once in red, appears to be older paint job but still has decent luster. Some minor scratches and dings. No rust showing on outer body. Solid frame and suspension. Front floors have been patched with metal, Some surface rust showing on floors from under car. Overall very solid for a British sports car of this vintage. Car is located in Lakeland, Florida, convenient to the Tampa or Orlando airport. I will not deliver vehicle but will assist with shipping any way I can. Car starts/stops/drives so shipping should be economical. This vehicle is for sale locally as well so I reserve the right to cancel the auction at any time.
