Vehicle description

1965 4DR Lincoln Continental Sedan with the factory suicide doors. Clear title in hand. I love driving this car and it get’s A LOT of attention everywhere I where it goes, but I just can’t find the time to drive it as much as I want. I"ve tried to explain everything I can below, but please let me know if you have any questions. I will do everything I can and be accommodating to assist remote buyers with shipping arrangements. 72,xxx miles; engine and transmission professionally rebuilt approximately 5k miles ago Professional Rebuilt MEL 430; NEW internals, re-balanced,block chem-bathed/magna-fluxed (Scroggins; TX) Professional Rebuilt Transmission (Lincolns West; CA) All new transmission lines. Professional Rebuilt power steering pump (Lincolns West; CA) Professional Rebuilt steering box (Lincolns West; CA) All new power steering lines Steering tubing/rod/rag-joint/bearings professionally rebuilt/replaced (between steering wheel and box) A/C working, new AC compressor (professionally installed). FiTech Go EFI-4 600hp Fuel Injection (will include original working carburetor) with controller New fuel pumps and high- and low-pressure gauges New carpet and matching custom “Continental” floor mats Front Suspension Rebuilt; all new bushings, ball-joints, and tie-rods New battery, alternator, starter, regulator, and cables Rear drum to disc conversion (by previous owner) If I keep this car, what would I work on in the future? Transmission Drip: I’m chasing down a minor drip toward the rear of the transmission. I’ve been under the car already and there’s a screw/plate behind the transmission pan towards the rear of the car that it’s dripping from.I haven’t pulled the plate yet, but I suspect it’s just a gasket that needs to be replaced. Exhaust: Mufflers are shot and need to be replaced. Power Windows/Seat: The passenger front window and driver cigar window aren’t working. The others work, but vary in speed. I would repair/replace the ones not working and clear/grease all window tracks. Texas Heat: Due to the summer heat in Texas I would likely tint the windows and possible convert to an electronic water pump to help regulate the engine temps better. Paint: The body seems super straight and the paint isn’t terrible, but up close there are noticeable scratches, paint chips, paint bubbles various spots around car. Paint is good for a driver and the local car meetups, but definitely not a show paint job.
