Offered here is a PAIR of 1965 Ford Thunderbirds. The white car runs and drives enough to slowly move it around and get it on a trailer. The gold car ran before the carb was removed. These cars go as a pair, they will not be sold individually and will not be parted out. The cars are located in Danville, Virginia.
The white car is the good, solid car. The floors are solid, trunk is solid, doors are solid, the quarters and fenders seem to have some rust repair done at some point but I do not know the extent of the repairs. The gold car is only good for a parts car, the roof has rusted away under the vinyl top and separated from the windshield. It is too far gone to save.
Both cars have the 390 V8 and both have Air Conditioning! The white car also has power windows and comes with a complete front suspension rebuild kit, gasket set, a complete set of exterior side chrome, one complete set of "65 hubcaps, one complete set of "66 hubcaps, fender skirts, and several other extra parts. The gold car, strangely, has an almost brand new set of rotors, calipers, drums, shoes, and pads on it. It also has the optional passenger reclining seat and ULTRA RARE AM/FM RADIO! ! The bumpers for the gold car have been removed, but are in good shape and are included in the sale.
The carb has been removed from the gold car, but the engine is not stuck and turns freely. It would make for a perfect donor in a Galaxie, Mustang, or another Thunderbird.
