Vehicle description
1965 Ford Mustang Fastback for sale. I purchased this car from a guy who had gathered interior parts for the car and had the engine rebuilt, engine bay detailed, brakes and fuel lines run with a new tank and some metal work done. Since I bought the car has sat in my garage and I cranked it once a week or so. I have an old Bronco I"d like to finish and am trying to build a house and need the room. The car runs and drives to load on a trailer but that"s as far as I"d drive it since I have only driven it up and down the driveway. From what I can tell this is what has been done to the car:
Rear quarters installed and look nice. Front and rear frame rails have been patched and I would redo. Front floor boards have been patched and near firewall patched. I would redo. New front aprons installed and the fender holes appear to be 1/2" off on some. I have not turned the first bolt on this car, I"m sure they can be adjusted, but I have not investigated. The vin number was cut out of the original driver apron and patched into the new apron. You can not tell from the top because the welder did a great job on the top but you can tell from underneath. The car has a 9" rear end with disc brakes but the emergency brakes need to be hooked up. Has front disc brakes but I believe the booster is not working (looks brand new) I was told the engine was rebuilt, it cranks and runs good. Has factory power steering hooked up. The car is in mostly black primer. This is a project car but a desirable 65 Fastback with all the hard to find fastback interior parts in place. This would be a car that you could drive now while you worked on it to make it whatever you"d like. This car is being offered for sale locally. NO Warranty. Inspect the car before you buy it.
