1964.5 / 1965 Ford Mustang Convertible - Restored The earliest Mustangs are often referred to as a 1964 ½ model year and this car was an early Mustang that was manufactured in April of 1964 prior to Ford Motor Company"s official introduction of the Mustang. This beautifully restored 1964 ½ Convertible is equipped with the 289 V8 engine, automatic 3-speed transmission, air conditioning, power steering, power brakes with front disk, pony interior, center console, Rally-Pac (tachometer & clock), GT style wheels, dual exterior mirrors, reverse lights… A comprehensive restoration of this classic Mustang was completed around 2 years ago. The restoration included complete body/paint, engine, transmission, steering, brakes, full interior (Pony upholstery, carpet, door panels, dash, visors, sound deadener), convertible top, chrome, rubber, shocks, cooling, fuel tank, tires, wheels… The following upgrades were added during the restoration- air conditioning, power steering, power brakes with front disks, Shelby type front apron, GT style wheels, electronic ignition, Autosound stereo… This is a recently restored car, so the paint, body, chrome, convertible top and interior are all in excellent condition plus it runs and drives great.
