1965 Ford Mustang convertible Drive it right now while summer is still here! Up for auction an All American icon 1965 Ford Mustang convertible. This is a very solid vehicle with an older restoration that will need some freshening up. However, that said it is a car you can drive and enjoy right NOW. This Mustang is equipped with the reliable inline 6 Ford 200 CID engine backed by the C4 Automatic transmission. This car runs well and goes down the road as well as any. It was updated to the dual bowl master cylinder with POWER BRAKES! Also factory equipped with power steering and a power top for ease and convenience. And for sound there is a classic sounds radio installed for AM/FM and AUX to play all your favorite tunes while you cruise but maintaining the classic stock look and not cutting the dash. The best feature of this car is the beautiful appointed interior with the blue on blue. The seats and all carpet and upholstery is immaculate. The engine compartment is about as clean as they come as is the trunk. She has standard 4 lug steel rims that are beautifully decorated by the desirable wire spoke wheel covers with spinners. The chassis underneath is very solid from the earlier restoration and the previous owner being selective on weather before taking her out. Everything is solid from the torque boxes to the frame and rockers. There was undercoating applied to which some of it is come off and I would recommend cleaning and reapplying to those areas to keep her solid as she is. And most importantly is the cowl does NOT leak. The two things other that that is she has some bubbling here and there on the quarters and passenger fender of which I will show pictures. Also she will need to be outfitted with new convertible top material. The frame and hydraulics operate as they should but the material on the top has seen better days. If you"re looking for a reasonably priced convertible you can drive now, then this is the car for you. I will do my best to answer any and all questions and picture requests as quickly as I can. If you want to pay with personal check it will require 7-10 business days to clear before the car can be released. Shipping arrangements will be the responsibility of the buyer. We will not arrange shipping for you. We will however provide contact information and work with YOUR shipper to arrange pick up at a time that works for them and for us.
