Vehicle description
I am selling a 1965 Galaxie 500 Convertible. With a 390, power steering and power drum brakes. The car looks, starts and drives great. It’s not a show car but would be a good driver. The previous owner did a partial restoration around 10 to 15 years ago.
-The engine in a non-original 390. It has an Edelbrock intake with a Holley carb, I had the distributor recurved and added a Pertronix ignition and recent tune up. The mufflers were recently swapped out for Dynomax mufflers.
-The brakes were gone through including shoes, cylinder, hardware, lines master, etc.
-The interior has a had the seats, panels and dash redone but not to the factory color or design. -The wheels are from a Mustang. Tires are not great. I also have the factory wheels and hubcaps.
-The top in intact and operates well but has a couple small rips and the window was replaced.
The car has had a lot of work done to it but there are still bugs that need to be worked out and some items that should be replaced. Please let me know if there are questions before bidding.
