Factory Five Cobra MK IV Roadster Replica. This roadster is currently registered in Georgia as a 1965 Cobra Roadster and the original clean MSO is also available. This is not a "donor" build as only all new parts were used in construction. Current mileage 2500, most of which was recorded before the eight month body and paint work which was completed in late November 2021. Jeff Kleiner, noted Cobra refinisher, (google him) did the work and applied Ford Anti Matter Blue to the body with Audi Floret Silver stripes. Chrome roll bar, chrome quick jacks, custom aluminum side vent louvers, custom chrome hood vents and Gas n pipes polished stainless steel Touring side pipes complete the exterior look. 17”x9” & 17”x10.5” Halibrand replica wheels are mounted with 245 45 17 front and 315 35 17 rear, Mickey Thompson Street Comp tires. Wilwood dual master cylinder pedal box activates PBR 4 wheel disc brakes with PowerStop Extreme Performance Ceramic low dust pads. Line lock is controlled from the shift knob. Parking brake is electronic. Rack and pinion steering is accomplished by an EPS electronic power steering setup. This system allows the driver to control the level of assist by simply rotating a knob in the cockpit. The immaculate engine compartment is host to a new Ford High Performance 302 Crate motor (340 HP) with GT40 aluminum cylinder heads, a B303 Ford Hydraulic roller tappet camshaft, Edelbrock "Performer RPM" intake manifold and 1405 Carburetor with manual choke. Complete ignition system is by MSD, including the Distributor, Blaster II coil and 6A Control unit. Transmission is a new Tremec 3550 5 speed which drives an all new rear differential including a complete new Ford 8.8 housing with new axels and bearings, aluminum carrier with 3:73 limited slip gearing. Drake cast aluminum cover with drain plug and carrier bearing supports. Interior features FFR heated Leather Roadster seats with 4 point Simpson Harness. Forced air heat for both driver and passenger , dual fresh air vents, full Auto Meter “Ultra lite” gauge package with clock, Herb’s custom door panels with storage pockets, NRG quick release steering wheel coupler, lighted billet switches, Russ Thompson self canceling turn signals, dimable LED under dash lighting and lockable glove box as well as emergency battery cutoff and hidden security cutoff switches. All circuits are fused and all switchable circuits are controlled via relays (see photo). Also included are Breeze side view billet mirrors, FFR sun visors, wind wings and embroidered custom floor mats as well as a lockable glove box.
