I am helping my friend list his 1965 Dodge Coronet for Sale! The most expensive part of a project car is complete which is the body work part of it! He bought a 4 door sedan which was a complete rust free car and then be he bought a coupe that was a parts car and removed the quarter panel and doors and converted the 4 door into a 2 door. He has both titles to the 4 door and 2 door parts car and both titles and parts to both cars come with the sale of this car! He has a lot of the interior and exterior parts. This project was started in 2009 and it was never completed. This is a great Restomod candidate as well! You can buy a wrecked Hellcat and do a Hellcat swap! The opportunities and direction you can take with this car is endless! I have attached detailed photos of both cars and the process of the body work. Over 150 photos are attached.
A lot of the interior parts such as the dash come with the sale of this car. A lot of parts are in boxes and he will gather all of them and put them together. A lot of parts are doubled as he saved all the parts he can from the parts car.
The exterior of the car is in great shape. The body work is 100% complete. It is only pending assembly. It comes with most of the glass and all the lights and complete Hemi grill! If you have a wrecked car or a rust bucket, this would also be a great car to swap all the parts over to.
Mechanically, there is not engine or trans and so it does not come with a drivetrain. It has the factory rear end still in the car. You can do a modern engine swap or keep it original. The engine bay is setup for a Hemi 426 as the shock towers is reversed for valve cover clearance.
This is a project started in 2008/2009 and never finished. It has just been sitting after all the hard body work was completed. Now it’s up for grabs for the highest bidder with no reserve.
