This vehicle is a replica from Factory 5 Racing, inc. From warhead, MA. Factory 5 enjoys a reputation for building a quality component vehicle and their products ranking the top 10 among Cobra replicas on A Cobra Replica enthusiast web site. All components are as -new and the build quality appears to be vary good to excellent. The choice of a large-displacement, high horsepower engine and a 5-speed manual transmission places this car in the upper end of comparable cars. This Cobra shows a January 2005 delivery date. I purchased this car in 2017, it was 95% complete at the time I purchased it. It was painted (by the previous owner), the engine and suspension were installed, the engine could be started, but the car was not drivable. I completed the car and have driven it regularly. The engine is a 427 aluminum block and heads, the crate engine was built by Bill Mitchell Hard Core Racing Productions, it is claimed by the engine builder to have 550 hp. The engineering of this Cobra is a tribute to Factory 5 Racing. The car is very fast, but is predictable, I"ve never felt like was out of control. This car looks good, but I was planning to paint the car. (it has some runs) I think anyone would enjoy the car, and you don"t have to put it together. IDCO003011zz
