I"m selling my VERY RARE BARN FIND 1965 Chevrolet C80 Tractor Truck. I"ve been on the fence for a longtime, and I think it"s time for some other "TRUCK GUY" to enjoy 1 of CHEVROLET MOST POPULAR Body Styled TRUCK in HISTORY. ! The Chevy "C" Series Truck 1962 thru 1965
Here a few FUN facts, that I found doing research on the CHEVY C80.
Chevrolet made less than 3,500 Total C80 model trucks.
And something to think about . . . they made less 3,500 C80 trucks with a 348 engine. ( How many of the 3,500 C80"s were factory ordered as Tractor Trucks ?)
And this C80 has a pretty LOW PRODUCTION number of #941, which is under the 1st group of 1,000 C80 trucks produced with a 348 engine. Which is amazing and makes this truck pretty special . . .surviving over 55 years and have an Arizona title showing 15K Box "A" org. miles.
The C80 has spent probably most of it"s life "if not all it"s life" in Sunny, Hot, Dry ARIZONA ( notice the 1969 ARIZONA License Plate TRACTOR TRUCK picture). It"s a very Solid truck with a few spot of rust( see pictures) doors are solid and shut nice and tight.
This C80 truck has a few upgrades worth mentioning. .
Factory Power Steering. . that"s NICE. . . Popeye arms not needed.
Upgraded front axles. . . Normal stock axles were 7k. this C80 has 9k. Heavy Duty for maybe a "DIESEL SWAP" and side note. . Freightliner FL80 typically have 9k front axles.
Air Brakes, 5spd trans. with 2spd 18.5k rearend and has a GVW of 25k. which is UNDER CDL 26k limit.
I"ve had the 348 running from a gravity feed. . The 348 sounds very good and healthy.
Speaking of the Chevy 348. . These are quite rare and sought out for the IMPALA CROWD for having a better casing and height. The BLOCK casting numbers are #655.

The truck has been sitting for a longtime and will need to be gone thru to get running under it"s own power. . . carb clean, tanks clean, fuel lines replaced etc. . the usual things for vehicles sitting for long periods of time.
I have a video of the 348 engine running. .I can gladly send to interested parties.

A guy that thinks REALLY BIG. . . Chevy C10 to "SUPER SIZED" C80. that can see the potential of the C80 TRUCK.
The C80 is BIG. .but can fit in a normal parking spot. Small enough to get into smaller places a BIG semi-truck couldn"t do very easily. BIG enough to get the job done. A WIN WIN WIN situation. !
