Here we have "LUPITA", a 1964 Toyota Land cruiser FJ40 Soft Top with a completely overhauled Diesel B engine conversation. This 54 year old classic Toyota was fully rebuilt a year ago . This beautiful BJ40 was painted with one of the best color combos a Toyota classic can have. Painted gun metal with a traditional black leather interior, custom bucket seats and soft top. It is a 3.0 liter with a displacement of 2,977cc inline 4. Fueled by diesel with an average MPG of 30 miles to the gallon! This truck has the 4 speed manual transmission. It was not until 1985 Toyota changed to the 5 speed with the newer 70 series trucks. This is o ne of the early year 40 series cruisers having the highly desirable stronger metal alloy body that lasts longer and is less prone to rust. Fully restored with a diesel engine overhaul conversion.
