We are moving and can"t take my Studebaker with us. We"ve owned it for the last 10 years. My wife got it for me as a birthday gift. The Paint & interior was just done before we got the car. It"s been in a dry garage, driving it maybe 4 times a year. This is the best car to drive & it starts and runs great. I"ll be sad to see it go its been a fun, fun car! The miles show 26k but its more than likely 126k. Everything works form the lights to the reclining seats. It even has a vanity mirror glove box.
Items completed less than 3000 miles ago The 4 1/2" wheels have been replaced with 6" Chrysler wheels and radial tires. It originally came with a 2v carburetor upgraded it to a 4v carter. Dual exhaust. 1st Gear start valve body in the transmission was added. The Heads have been rebuilt w/ new valves and now can handle unleaded fuel. The old cooling fan was replaced with a clutch fan. The rear main seal was replaced. The center bearing in the steering was replaced. The brakes were completely rebuilt. New cylinders, hoses, master, linings, & springs. New fuel tank sender. New windshield. New seat covers were bought on-line and installed by Jacobs upholstery in Spokane. New paint. I"ve taken a photo of the minor defects. This is not a "Jet Thrust" or Avanti engined car, the badges were added on. If you have any questions please let me know.
