Vehicle description
196 L Head (Flathead) six, 3 speed automatic. Pretty nice shape body wise and mechanically and really nice (I was told original but looks new) interior. Runs good has a new carburetor (1bbl manual choke), plugs, wires, fuel pump, cap/rotor, rear wheel cylinders, master cylinder and battery. It will need the front and rear window gaskets replaced, both you can still get at places like Kennedy American or Gavins AMC Parts. Car was painted in early 90"s. Underside of car is in really nice shape was undercoated at some point. I can see very little rust even in the wheel wells. I will add more pictures tonight thank you for looking. All lights and turn signals work. I have a NOS speedometer that needs to be installed. I replaced the cable but the speedo itself will not spin, thus the new one. Just don"t feel like messing with it myself but should be easy to replace.
