I am listing this fine Mercury Montclair Breezeway for a long time friend.
I will describe it in detail so you know what your buying.
DRIVETRAIN
1964 Mercury Montclair Breezeway 4 door. Original # matching 390 V8 4 barrel engine that has been top to bottom completely rebuilt by a certified Ford mechanic. I it has less than 15k since rebuilt.
Front suspension has all new ball joints, tie rod ends, bushings, and springs.
The exhaust is all new duals front to back with great sounding mufflers and chrome exhaust tips.
The brakes have been replaced all 4 wheels plus a new master cylinder as well.
New Good Year (same as the originals) biased ply whitewall tires.
Original optional factory spinner hubcaps.
BODY DESCRIPTION
The body is nice & straight.
It has the optional Mercury hood ornament, fender flags, and fender skirts.
Electric Breezeway rear window that operates perfectly.
All rear taillight lenses are new.
Taillight bezels all re chromed.
Original spare tire, jack, and new trunk mat.
This car has had one re paint back in the 1970"s and it looks good with a nice shine to it.
It has a little spot of surface rust behind the back wheel way down low but very minor.
INTERIOR? GLASS DESCRIPTION
The interior is all in nice condition.
All original Mercury floor mats front & rear.
The dash is very nice with all working speedometer, odometer, radio, heater controls, and gauges.
Glove box in good condition with original owner"s manual inside.
It has a removable aftermarket front arm rest/ cup holder sitting between the driver & passenger.
It has a aftermarket stereo radio/CD player mounted below the center dash.
The headliner & visors are in good condition.
All new door seals installed.
The window track gaskets need replaced. (I have new gaskets in the box in the trunk)
All the glass is in good condition.
I"m sure there"s things I"m forgetting. He has receipts for most everything that"s been done to this car which will be included. The owner has invested over 12K. in this car and has driven it to many local car shows. It has been enjoyed by his wife & him for several years but he recently bought another car and having lost his place to store it they have decided to sell it.
