64 Lincoln Continental coupe. Black paint. Black interior. 430 cubic inch V8. Suicide doors. 19,697 actual miles. I got this as a project around 12 years ago and it has sat in pretty much its current state since then. It’s been in warm dry Arizona for at least 15 years. I’ve listed all the good and bad below. Much of what"s listed below (that I can"t confirm) was relayed to me from the previous owner. It’s definitely a project, but has a lot of good going for it for a 56 year old vehicle. The Good: -Straight body. -New carpet. New vinyl seats, dash, and headliner. -Disc front brakes (off a 73 Thunderbird). -Set up for air-bag suspension. -New transmission mounts. -Air-conditioning. -Shaved door handles and gas tank door for a cleaner look. Remote door popper kit included (not installed). -Rebuilt carburetor. -Re-cored radiator. -Most chrome/stainless trim included. Chrome on bumpers is in decent shape. -Various extra spare parts including additional water pump. -All glass complete with no cracks or chips. -New alternator, plugs, coil. Biggest Known Issues: -The paint is around a 7 or 8 out of 10. Various small imperfections and scratches. No apparent surface rust (Very dry climate here in AZ). -Some trunk and under-body rust. Various sheet metal patches welded in trunk area. No apparent structural rust. -Engine turns over by hand, and feels like good compression. I never got it to the point of starting it. -Transmission needs a shift linkage. Driveshaft disconnected from transmission so it can roll. -Front/rear brakes need new lines. -Air-bag pedestals welded in the front suspension, but no bags installed. No front springs included. -Trunk missing latch assembly. Trunk also needs some hinge work. Hood missing latch catch. -Front & rear glass need to be installed. -Tires are old rollers.
