Vehicle description

hello, to everyone who has been communicating with me on the car, nothing new to tell you. I still prefer to sell the car as i am worried i will not be able to find competent mechanics in the area where i live to service it when it needs maintenance. Currently its at a shop several thousand miles away from me in Danville Virginia, where the mechanic is trying to finish up some odds and ends before my bringing the car to where i live. But I am sort of in a situation where i have to make a decision soon on whether to finish the small stuff and have it shipped to me or sell it as is while its still on the US mainland. If i do not sell it in this weeks listing, I am not anticipating relisting it and in all probability will proceed with plans to finish the few items below and engage a transport company to get it to me in Hawaii. Anyway, to those not seeing the previous listing, it has been restored as you can see but there are some small stuff left to verify are okay. it runs well and the a/c blows cold. only issue i know of mechanically is the upholstery shop tried to adjust the angle of the power windows and now they are slow to go up on passenger side. Car was recently repainted. the spray job was done well. but there are about half dozen very small spots near moldings where the new paint has lifted due to improper scuffing of paint surface underneath. so it will need a few touch ups around car. there seems to be no rust or even evidence of past rust. the only spot where their might be rust is the mechanic called me recently to tell me he noticed a couple dime size bubbles on center of hood. since reverse side of hood looks like new, i was told its an easy fix. to see list of things done to car, please look at listing pics and see the things the dealer said he did to the car before i bought it. i just copied his document and posted it in with the other photos. in addition to his list of things, i have put a new battery, battery cables, alternator and power steering gear box and other things. I have over $30,000 into this car and asking $23,000 for it. but will consider offers that are not too far from the asking price. if any questions or you want to go see the car in danville, call or email me. my phone number is 808 688 1330. I did have one man go see the car and he sent me an email of his impressions of what he thought. while he decided he wasn"t ready to buy now, he did tell me how he found the car when he went and drove it and gave me permission to share that info with others interested in the car and said he would not mind if anyone called to talk to him about it. Matt, if your reading this, thanks for that. but if anyone wants to see a copy of his email assessment or talk to him he said he"d wouldn"t mind anyone calling him and i can forward a copy of his email. he seems like really nice man.
