1964 Daimler 2.5L V8 4-door saloon (the sister to the Jaguar MKII) W idely considered to be the luxurious version of the Mark II. It features the same body metal and different fluted chrome trim on the front and rear. It is much rarer that the more typical Mark II. Eight year pain staking complete nut & bolt restoration s coring 99.2 out of 100 at a sanctioned Jaguar Concours. This has to be the nicest example in the US. A complete ground-up nut & bolt restoration completed over an 8 year period. This Daimler stated off with a complete rust free body that was stripped to bare metal. Flawless body and paint was done by a well know restoration shop in Florida as well as the interior trim and mechanical work. This car looks as perfect underneath as it does on top. - 100% straight, accident & rust free sheet metal
- High end repaint in British White in excellent condition
- New correct red leather interior front and rear seats by OJSI (Original Specification Jaguar Interiors) in Muncie, Indiana - complete rebuilding including new foams and leather seat covers
- New headliner, carpet and door panels
- Restored dash & gauges
- Restored 31-pieces of Burl Wood by Madera Concepts in CA
- Excellent chrome and soft trim throughout
- Rebuilt 2.5L V-8 genuine Hemi Engine with less than 400 miles since rebuild
- Brakes were done by White Post Restorations, the brake cylinders were machined and sleeved with brass along with new seal kits for lifetime corrosion free performance.
- New seals, hoses, rubber, suspension bushes, exhaust, and wiring harness etc. . all sourced directly from England.
- Factory wheels, and original Daimler wheel covers
- New 5 Sprint Classic radial tires fitted in the correct size
- Original tool kit, glove box manual and service manual are included

Jaguar was then merged into the British Motor Corporation in 1966 and British Leyland in 1968. Under these companies, Daimler became an upscale trim level for Jaguar cars.
