My car is a 1964 Thunderbird with a 390ci engine mated to a automatic transmission. This car drives beautifully and easily cruises on the highway at 55-60mph. I am the second owner of the car. I purchased the vehicle about 15 years ago from a woman who"s husband passed. Since purchasing the vehicle I"ve: -rebuilt the engine -rebuilt the transmission -replaced aging front suspension -repainted the car burnt sienna(from original color of bronze) -new chrome spoke rims/tires -reapolstered the interior -re chrome the bumpers -added a mild exhaust system -other restoration needs This car is a great driver, head turner and reliable. The only thing I say the car needs is: very small restoration things (interior door handles, engine bay), upgrade the drum brakes to disc brakes and add a new radio. The current radio doesn"t work great. I love the car, but I have the same car in convertible(as seen in pics) If you"re looking to get into a classic vehicles this is your chance. The paint in my opinion is a 8.5 out of 10 and was painted about 6-7 years ago, I paid $5000. (small imperfections pictures available) under the car isn"t perfect but is in good condition. I"m not really looking to trade. The engine and transmission was rebuilt about 8 years ago.
