According to the Data Tag, from the factory, it was painted in Rangoon Red (code J) over a Red CrushVinyl Bench Seat (code 75). It is powered by the desirable, original X code 352ci "ThunderbirdSpecial" 250hp 4bbl V8 engine mated to the popular Cruise-O-Matic column shifted automatictransmission (code 4). As the window sticker states, it was ordered with a White Convertible Top(power and works well), Power Steering, Deluxe Seat Belts, 2-Speed Electric Wiper and Washers,Padded Dash, Remote Control Mirror, and Backup Lites Clock (works). Everything works as it should,including the radio. I RECENTLY INSTALLED A DIGITAL RADIO AND TWO 10 INCH WOOFERS IN THE BACK TRUNK AS WELL AS NEW 6X9 SPEAKERS. I HAD THE WHOLE FUEL SYSTEM REPLACED, FRONT TANK, STRAPS, MAT PAD, FUEL PUMP. I HAD THE CARBERATOR REBUILT LAST MONTH. I REPLACED THE SIDE MIRRORS AS WELL AS BOTH ARM RESTS AS THEY WERE TORE UP WHEN I RECIEVED THE VEHICLE. I LOVE THIS CAR. .IT"S A GREAT RIDE ESPECIALLY IN THE SUMMER AS I PUT THE TOP DOWN IN SUNNY SAN ANTONIO. BUT A JOB MOVE AND DIVORCE HAS ME NOT WANTING TO STORE VEHICLE AND NOT BE ABLE TO HAVE ACCESS AS I WILL BE MOVING OUT OF STATE FOR CAREER MOVE. THIS VEHICLE HAS BEEN STORED EITHER IN GARAGE OR COVERED CARPORT. I ALSO HAD THE POWERSTEERING CONNECTION UNDER CAR REPLACED AS WELL AS THE EMERGENCY BRAKE SYSTEM AS IT DID NOT WORK WHEN I RECEIVED THE CAR.What you see is what you get here. No excuses. A TWO-owner Galaxie with all the original paperwork.You will be hard pressed to find another one this clean, this original, with all known ownershipdocumentation.
