1964 FORD FALCON FUTURA SEDAN
A rust free, solid example in very good condition ready for you to show and tour. This Ford broadcast sheet documented two door is described as a Futura optioned turquoise metallic finished body with matching turquoise upholstery and bench seat. Built on January 6, 1964 for Phoenix Arizona (District 75) with a 260 V8, 2 barrel carburetor, Ford-O-matic automatic transmission, 3.25:1 rear axle, power steering and factory air conditioning.
The car received a through mechanical and cosmetic restoration by a previous enthusiast for touring and show. Currently, this Futura has a 289 Ford V8 with chrome package as installed by that owner, a freshly rebuilt C4 automatic transmission, new shocks, new tires and rear sway bar. It rides on 14" chrome Cragar SS wheels.
This Futura does not disappoint out on the road or at weekend car shows. It looks sharp,runs strong, the AC blows cold. In short, no drama. This dry Western States body is solid, absent of rust in the floors, rockers, toe boards and trunk. It is a very clean car worthy of your consideration. It is currently in Reno Nevada as it has been for numerous years.
A complement of parts is included with this car. Original 13" steel wheels, additional trim and emblems, etc. Recent receipts for mechanical work included with sale.
