Vehicle description
This 1964 Ford Fairlane Town Sedan was acquired by its late previous owner in February 2000 and refurbished in 2010 with a repaint in black as well as interior re-upholstery in red and black vinyl. Power is provided by a 200ci straight-six paired with a two-speed automatic transmission, and additional equipment includes steel wheels, and a chrome valve cover and air cleaner. This Fairlane is offered by the selling dealer on behalf of its late owner’s family with two ignition keys, a trunk key, and a clean Delaware title.
The car was finished in Raven Black from the factory, and a trim-off repaint was carried out in 2010. Trim includes re-chromed bumpers as well as fender skirts and a polished aluminum grille.
Black-painted 14″ steel wheels are fitted with factory hubcaps and wear Endurance whitewall radial tires. The car came with unassisted four-wheel drum brakes from the factory.
Twin bench seats have been reupholstered in black and red vinyl.
A three-spoke steering wheel frames an aluminum-look 120-mph speedometer as well as fuel and temperature gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 55k miles, with the actual total unknown.
The 200ci straight-six breathes through a single carburetor and features a chrome valve cover and air cleaner. A Ford-O-Matic two-speed automatic transmission routes power to the rear wheels through a 3.25:1 differential. An oil change was performed in February 2021.
