Vehicle description
1964 Ford F-250. Condition is "Used" farm truck, original paint, 292 Y block V8 Ford engine from 1964 with 38999 original miles on it. 1964 was the last year this engine was made.
Truck was on a farm in California for most of its life I am told. It was then inherited by a grandson who took it to a San Antonia Texas area farm. An Airforce Member stationed in that area purchased the truck and eventually drove it to Ohio he told me I purchased it from him in Ohio after he was married and having a child, I think his wife made him get ride of it. I have receipts for carburetor rebuild, transmission rebuild, new radiator, valve job, exhaust seals, and other parts and labor totaling $1580.00 from the guy who purchased it in San Antonio Texas, along with the Texas plates that were on it.
Then I had cab corners replaced, new plugs, fuel filter, and I repaired bracket mount for the alternator where it mounts to the head with a helicoil. I was driving it but had the gas tanks removed, chemically treated and coated with Red Coat as they had a lot of gunk in them. I had the tool box mounted on the bed removed and chemically treated also. So, I have about $1000 or more in repairs done to it myself above the purchase price of the truck from the prior owner.
Not really had time to continue and finish the restoration of this truck and put things back together. So its looking for a new home to complete the repairs and get it back on the road.
