This 1964 Corvette convertible is a former 327/375hp fuel injected car. Although the original fuel unit is long gone, the original numbers matching block is (pictured here) included in the sale as is the matching silver blue hard top. This Corvette sports a rare white & blue interior with Silver Blue exterior both which match the vehicle"s trim tag (pictured). The 4-speed manual transmission is mated to a period correct 350cid replacement motor which also retains many of the original numbers matching components of the factory original engine such as the original 1964 heads (pictured). Frame is rock solid and only exhibits surface discoloration typical of age. All original body panels with all bonding strips intact and no evidence of body work noted. Both sets of headlights work very well and flip around exactly as they should. The driver side headlight motor was replaced within the last 90 days and now works perfectly. The replaced rebuildable original driver-side headlight motor is included in the sale. Brakes work very well and stop as should. The wheels are look-alike reproductions made to simulate original 1964 knock-off wheels. Other improvements include new carpet, new dated convertible top. The original block has been tested and is in excellent condition. I had been planning to rebuild the original motor and purchase a correct dated 1964 fuel unit but did not find the time. This car is a fun driver with a great value-add investment opportunity for someone who has the bandwidth to rebuild the original motor. Or just save all the original parts included in the sale and enjoy as-is!
