Vehicle description
Vehicle Details Chevrolet Impala SS convertible, power steering, brakes and top, tilt wheel. This car has a factory dash tach. I have owned this car since 1988, drove it for years. The car has a 327, out of a 67 Impala I think, transmission is a 350 turbo, it was professionally rebuilt in in 92. The engine was freshened up by me in 92 also. Exhaust and such is all good. I had the frontend rebuilt in about 2010. All new brakes and brake lines, bearings etc, taken care of at that time, frame was cleaned and painted. With this completed I got the idea I would have the body and interior redone. The interior looks great, white with light blue accents, seats, door panels and carpet, even the sun visors. The top bows are there but I never bought a new top so that is needed. Console it banged up and been chewed on by a rodent, it will be ok. The body is what did me in. A complete floor pan and braces were installed and look great. Any other panels were installed prior time buying the car, trunk looks good also. Things drag for years, I have health issues and progress seems to stop so I decide to finish it myself, a mistake. Body looks decent, paint looks good at a distance but finding issues is not a problem. Some people will think it looks fine, others will likely block it and repaint. I "believe" I have all the chrome, driver quality (it is original from the car) The only thing really lacking is the chrome strips that go around the seats. I have them but they are rusty. Wheels and tires are brand new, never on the road. It has not been driven in years but does run and yard drive. I have no real need to sell this car but thought someone else might enjoy it as I once did. This is an auction, I will NOT tell you the reserve. I might do some trading if you have a classic that interests me. I welcome inspections, encouraged. Pick up is preferred but I'll work with you as long as you are paying the bill. $500 nonrefundable deposit within 48 hours. Pick up within 30 days unless ''we" agree to other arrangements.
