Vehicle description

WHAT IS THE HISTORY? A guy in Chattanooga, Tennessee owned the car and decided to sell it. We have a clean Tennessee title with the correct VIN numbers matching the plate on the car. All I can tell you other than that is that the title says previous state of registration was Tennessee. Past owner had a automotive machine show build the engine, put new tires and wheels on, new interior, new exhaust and more. HOW IS THE BODY? I consider it very good. He liked the patina look so he left the paint the way it was. All the panels look original to me, one flat metal patch on the bottom of a floor. Frame looks good, drop downs look good, no thick under coating. Bottom does have rusty color metal, but its look good enough to clean treat and use. What I can see of the bed on under side looks solid to me. HOW IS THE ENGINE? Past owner said it was a 327 cubic inch that a automotive machine shop had just built, it is very clean. I hear no knocks or rattles, starts good, no blue smoke, runs strong. It has a new dual line Holley Brawler carburetor, chrome full pump, one wire alternator, aluminum intake, Hooker headers and electronic distributor. HOW IS THE TRANSMISSION? Its a Power Glide automatic, it shifts good and I feel no slip. HEAD LIGHTS WORK! TAIL LIGHTS WORK! BRAKE LIGHTS WORK! TURN SIGNALS WORK! DOME LIGHT WORKS! HORN NOT WORKING! WINDSHIELD WIPERS WORK! RADIO NOT WORKING! GAS GAUGE WORKS! SPEEOMETER WORKING! OIL, TEMP AND OIL ARE IN A POD UNDER DASH, OIL WORKS GOOD, TEMP TUBE IS BENT AND VOLT NOT HOOKED UP, THEY ARE CHEAP ONES AND NEED REPLACED HOW IS THE PAINT? If you like patina look this is a good start, if you like show shinny it need a paint job. I consider it a good body, very straight down the sides, drivers door has a knocked out large dent (come with a good extra door. Corners have the paint worn off, chips and a few very tiny bubbles down low. I don"t think any panels need replaced. HOW IS THE GLASS? New windshield, sides glass roll up and down good. HOW IS THE CHROME? Back bumper looks new, front OK with minor pits, emblem have some pits. HOW ARE THE WHEELS AND TIRES? New, 17 inch US mags. HOW IS THE EXHAUST? New duals with Hooker headers. HOW DOES THE CAR DRIVE? Good to me, it is power steering. HOW ARE THE BRAKES? Good for 4 wheel drums with no power assist. WHERE IS THE CAR LOCATED? Athens, Tennessee 37303. CONTACT Ron Watson for more information and a video of the car running. My cell is (423-506-8987) (423) 252-1305
