Vehicle description
This Original Arkansas truck has been frame off restored. All components with the exception of the rebuilt steering column and differential have been replaced. The engine is a fresh 355 cu in ( a .030 over bored 350 ) with a mild cam , aluminum intake and a new street brawler Quick Fuel carb. All brake components were replaced including all lines both rubber and steel. 8" 84 suburban rallye wheels were sand blasted and painted to match the body color and then shod with new Firestone tires both front and rear. The transmission is a GM 700R4 overdrive unit that has been rebuilt and a shiftkit added including a new LoKar Floor shifter. The interior has been updated with a polished aluminum dash insert equipped with all new Stewart Warner guages, power leather bucket seats, all New tinted glass as well as all new weather stripping throughout. A brand new custom Autowire electrical harness was installed along with new tail lites, turn signal lites and bezels, headlites and surrounds and new turnsignal cancel mechanism. A new oak floor was installed in the bed together with all new stainless strips. New outer as well as inner door handles together with window cranks and new vent glass. There is a panel on the dash that I think might have been for the heater controls and I am missing that small piece and just have"nt had the time to hunt one down although I know they are readily available. The exhaust is ceramic coated headers followed by mandrel bent pipes the are tig welded back to 21348 walker turbo mufflers with no tailpipes yet to be installed. If you are seeking a chrome plated trailer queen, this is not the truck for you, the front bumper and grille are color matched to the body color, however if you are looking for a super straight no nonsense, cool, great driving truck. .Just add your choice of stereo and sutle touches to make it yours and I don"t think you will be disappointed. .Thank you for taking the time to look at my truck
