Vehicle description
I"ve found another car that I want so the wife says this one has to go. The car was fully restored about 12 years ago by the previous owner until I bought it a little over a year ago. When I bought it I did a complete mechanical and style restoration. It has new brakes from master cylinder to shoes, new KYB shocks. The transaxle was pulled and resealed, and shifts great using a new Berg shifter. The interior is in great shape for a driver. Headliner is about perfect, only a small half inch tear. The floors were stripped and sealed with por 15 just last week. The car also has a 2 inch narrowed beam from CB performance. The body is very straight and dry. It"s a driver body though and has minor issues. There is a little bit of rust in the lower quarter panels, and minor rust in the passenger heater channel. All is still very solid, and no need for immediate attention. The back bumper was lightly pushed in in a parking lot, but really not noticable. All electrical works as it should except for the interior dome light.
The motor was professionally built 6 months ago. It is a 1776 with a 110 cam, counterweighted crank, light flywheel, 044 heads, A1 black ceramic sidewinder header and muffler, dual 40 mm dellorto carbs with sync link linkage. The motor is very powerful, and runs great!
Issues: really nothing huge, it"s my daily driver and has never left me stranded. The rear wheel seal behind the backing plate just showed a sign of a minor leak, which I may get fixed this week. Minor rust as mentioned. Other than that it"s a great car that gets tons of attention around town.
Shipping is always an option. Down payment of 500 due within 24 hours of auction ending. Car is located in Pinehurst NC 28374. Please email [email protected] for questions.
