Absolutely amazing 1963 Mk III Sunbeam Alpine GT for sale.
This is a nut and bolt restoration high fin car with some performance upgrades. Finished in competition yellow over a stunning red interior. I highly recommend watching the inspection video in HD, which you"ll find at the end of the listing.
The paint and body is flawless, with a high quality paint job. California car since new, no rust or accidents. Perfect body gaps, new rubber seals and weather stripping throughout the car. The chrome and bright work is in excellent condition. Since its a GT car, it comes with a hard top and a full tonneau cover. The hard top was painted and covered in soft top canvas material. A really cool touch that will keep your hard top scratch free. Dynamat sound deadening throughout the cabin, inside the doors and the rear quarter panels. Clean carpeted trunk with correct stand up spare wheel. The undercarriage is solid and rust free, perfect frame rails.
The engine bay is clean and detailed. Features a built 1725cc engine from a Mk V. Two barrel Weber carburetor replaces the troublesome SU"s, competition camshaft. Upgraded Tiger radiator, high flow water pump, polished intake manifold, valve cover and head. Attention to every detail can be found in the engine bay. AC system nicely positioned, looks like a factory install. Rebuilt Mk V 4 speed synchromesh transmission that shifts flawlessly.
The interior is in perfect condition. Beautiful wood dash, restored gauges, leather wrapped billet aluminum steering wheel. Reupholstered seats, perfect door cards and a chrome roll bar ties the interior together.
The suspension has been completely redone, upgraded front suspension from a Mk V, new shocks all around, powder coated metal elements and rear axle. Sport exhaust, sounds exhilarating.
