AZ desert survivor
NO RESERVE . . bid on it to win !
SUPER RARE CAR and this one starts with the key running it off some
gas from under the hood and an E fuel pump, it will start as you can
see in the video, but can be difficult at time to start of course.
it has a new master cylinder and the brakes do work.
There are so many ways to build this car as long as you
do it well, its a win win situation for everyone. Back to stock?
Restomod ? Ratrod ? Im thinking patina-mobile outside, w/ a
restored interior and drivetrain would be sweet.
We suggest viewing our auction on normal large monitors
and or tablet to get the most out of our large easy to view pics.
Desert Survivor being sold by a very legit Ebay seller

BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
Here is our 1963 Pontiac Catalina Safari wagon. It was literally last driven
back in 1973. Under the hood is the original 389 V8 with options like AC
PS and more. Check out the video link below of it running.
What looks to be the original paint or whats left of it you can
see its a very straight, solid Az body etc. Minimal rust esp for its age.
Rolls, steers and brakes fine too. 3rd row seating with electric rear window
on the tailgate (not currently working)
It is a well optioned car, with AC PS PB and more. .Its also
a great color combination from factory. The interior must of been
beautiful when new. This sled still looks great from any angle and has tons
of potential for the buyer for a new project.
But its about 95% complete at least and you wont
be having to chase down alot of parts etc. MUCH MORE DETAILS BELOW

make sure you are legit, if we do please reply or we will cancel your bid.
Up for Auction: I wont end it early, sorry.
DRIVETRAIN: under the hood is your typical
Pontiac 389 2v V8 w/ an auto trans. Its not pretty
but its untouched for many yrs. After oiling down the
cylinders for a few days to be safe, we hooked up an
E fuel pump to the small gas source under the hood
and after a few tries it came to life and sat there and
idled. I did notice water coming out of what I think was
the water pump or possibly the radiator (but we never ran it long
enough to get hot) Cool car with some cool options.
Rest of it looks pretty complete and un touched. Motor does
turn over by hand at least. Auto trans from the factory.
Trans felt okay when I drove it around the block. and the
engine didnt make any weird noises or smoke for that
matter. The gas tank sounds like its empty but I didnt bother
to put any fresh gas in just yet, seemed like a safer bet to
run it off some fresh gas under the hood with the e fuel pump
for now.
INTERIOR: take a look at pics, pretty much dry vinyl
and old original upholstery etc. It will need almost a full
resto here, but the floors are very solid at least. The
chrome and stainless are decent and will polish up nicely.
No major pitting etc. Front seat isnt terribly bad, middle
and rear most seats are in great shape. Door panels also
not tooo bad. It had a funky smell so we tore out most of
the carpets and let it air out alot, which has helped.
Has 3rd row rear face seating too. Cant open the rear tailgate
just yet. Need to get the window to roll down first.
Does have a switch on the dash and we were getting power
to the switch at least.
Some cool options. All the glass is good Im pretty sure.
EXTERIOR: you are seeing what the AZ sun can do to paint
after 45 or so yrs. Solid rot free Az frame. Mild rust found
on a few spots, but being an Az car expect better then avg.
Chrome and stainless all appear to be there and in nice shape
too for their age. Paint is obviously baked. A small dent on the
dr side most rear 1/4 was started to be fixed 40+ yrs ago.
Nothing major at all. Aprox 75k original miles too.
SUSPENSION: the suspension looks pretty much like the way
it came from the factory and complete. Ride height looks to have never been altered. Rolls and steers fine and the car will
come on the current 15x7 Chevy Rallys shown in the pics w/
some nice newer 15" tires too. IF you dont want them I can put
the stock steel wheels back on and deduct $200 if you want.
I couldnt decide what color I liked the rims, which is why one
side has black rims and the other silver. You can decide if you
choose to keep them on it. Check out ALL 100+ the pics below - - -> it may take a full minute for them all to load if you have a slow connection, so be patient AND looks for the extra scroll bar on the right side.
Az gets maybe 12" a yr of rain and Az very dry climate. more info AFTER the pics etc. There are 100 large pics below _ >
Probably The BEST represented Wagons on Ebay.
Shows you all the good as well as any bad.
We put a lot of time and effort in marketing our cars. People wait months for a car this solid to come up for sale. IT ONLY MAKES SENSE TO PAY A LITTLE MORE NOW ON SHIPPING so your NOT PAYING MUCH MORE IN RUST REPAIRS ON A Rust Bucket. Yes, it has rust, but not eastcoast yrs of rot. This is whats called smart economics.
Also, if you buy a car thats been "restored", who knows what surprises are hidden under new paint or thick undercoating. People are flipping cars all the time when most of the jobs are fast, for a quick buck and quality suffers.
Email us with ANY questions before you bid please
Our Impeccable FEEDBACK speaks for itself. We show you as much feasibly possible via pics.
Dont let auctions with little to no pics fool you.
If they cant take pics of areas under the car they are
selling, maybe its not the best car to buy long distance, and you really dont know what to expect
until you take the car apart. While we go over our cars with great pics to help making your decision easier.Along with ANY other questions you may have.
Email me for a quote for shipping.
