It was raced from 1963 to late 1970s, winning NHRA Top Stock Eliminator 1965, Carlsbad, CA; won Mr. Stock Eliminator, Carlsbad running 11.88@120mph; 1965-1966, beat Mike Schmidt"s factory sponsored 64 Galaxie lightweight AA/SA five times; 1965-1966, won Top Stock Eliminator, AHRA, Irwindale running 11.70s on 9" tires; 1966 class competitor NHRA Top Stock Eliminator, Winternationals Pomona, running 11.90s; 1966, runner-up NHRA Top Stock Eliminator A/SA Jackpot Pro-Circuit, Pomona; 1967, won SS/CA, Hot Rod Magazine Championships (HRM), Riverside; 1968, won Super Stock Eliminator, SS/DA, HRM, Riverside; 1968, NHRA divisionals Orange County Raceway, running 11.60s; 1969, fastest car in A/SA at HRM, Riverside; 1969-71, raced under "Mr. Wedge" winning the Winternationals in A/SA, but later disqualified due to piston clearance, won Stock Eliminator at Riverside and Irwindale and also raced at Lions; 1971-1977, raced at Lions, Irwindale, Salinas, Santa Maria, Sacramento, Vernalis, and Fremont NHRA Stock Eliminator running best 11.41 @ 121 on 7" tires.
