Gallery Junction is pleased to offer this 1963 Jaguar XKE Series I FHC. This is a numbers matching two owner car from new. The second owners purchased the car here in California in 1971. This car has had the same local Southern California owner for the last 51 years. He recently completed a restoration on the car and the car is documented with its Jaguar Heritage certificate and a binder full of restoration receipts. This example was built April 5th, 1963 and finished in the desirable color of carmen red with a black leather interior. When the car was restored they stayed with that original color combination. The engine number stamped on the head and the block matches the data plate and heritage certificate. The car also comes with an original owners manual and spare tire jack and bag. The 3.8l 6 cylinder engine performs very strongly and the car drives wonderfully. It has excellent chrome and stainless as well as beautiful paint with good lines fitment and panel gaps. This would make an excellent addition to any collection.
