Vehicle description
Vehicle Details Excellent project for sale. Has been a project for owners for many years, Achilles heel was probably plenty of rust in floor and rocker panels. That rust is now fixed, body structure is restored and the body is nice and straight. This is an excellent shell, very straight, factory-like panel gaps around doors, not in crash, one of the few really straight S1s out there? No new rear fenders required or that sort of major surgery. Bonnet in almost as good shape as the body, does have a hand-size dent that needs the attention of a professional panel beater. Welds have not been sealed, so they are visible for inspection. All in all one of the best S1 shells/bodies out there. . Current status (WIP): Body needs new fender lip welded in and one patch in trunk area. Bonnet not touched yet.Entire project is very well documented, and disassembled in a very structured manner, parts and hardware in boxes clearly marked, referring to the proper Plate in the official Spare Parts Catalogue (included). So even the rookie E-Type restorer will easily see what goes where.Project looks to be complete except obvious things like battery, hoses, exhaust, come and look for yourself? Paperwork ok, including Jaguar Heritage Production Record Trace CertificateSo, the major task of the structural rust is done, will you do the rest? Images Download the Motors app
