Vehicle Details 1966 GMC 1000 stepside pickup recently brought up from Texas. Very solid. Has a 305 ci V6, motor runs great, no smoke, smooth idle, new fuel pump, exhaust is good shape. I replaced the brake/clutch master cylinder, brakes pump up good but will need bled/serviced. Clutch works good, but 3 speed column shifter will need adjusted or linkage fixed- sloppy action. Front chrome is nice original. I painted the tailgate to get a better idea of color, GM paint chip is 'Palomino Tan' best I can tell. Wheels were just powder coated white. This should be a fun, easy truck to fix up. A truck dealer I know just had it shipped up from Texas (see rear bumper photo). I bought it on impulse, as he was thinking of putting a cheap paint job on and selling high. I cleaned it up some and got it running nice, but I have 3 other projects ahead of it and I can hardly get started on those, let alone this, so figured I'd see if someone else has time to do it good.
