Roadster Shop Fast Track chassis GM Performance LS3 525-horse Hot Cam Modern 4L65E 4 speed automatic transmission The full custom interior elegantly marries the world of 1963 with today"s luxuries using fine Hydes Italian Leather along with Dakota Digital gauges, Billet Specialties steering wheel and Restomod Air. 14-inch drilled and slotted Wilwood Brakes 18x9 Budnick"s, the rear 20x15, all shod in Mickey Thompsons Functional side pipes and custom functional hood vents "When we do flush-mount glass, this is a stock windshield," said Weaver. "We build the body out and get this perfect gap all the way around the car. It is a very time-consuming process to get this correct. We probably have anywhere from 100 to 150 hours just in this front windshield." The cowl, too, received some major custom touches. Including the removal of the windshield wipers and inset vents, which took 200 hours to accomplish. The split-window also received the flush-mounted treatment, taking twice the time as the front glass due to being two pieces.
