I"m selling my wife"s 1963 Chevrolet Corvette Split Window Coupe. It was orignally completed to a Bloomington Gold Standard Level car using a 32,000 mile original coupe as a starting platform. The transformation was done by Master Builder Keith Mastriforte of Special Cars Only, in Oldsmar, Florida. Unfortunately, when completed, my wife couldn"t drive the car because it drove like a 1963 Corvette. Because she loved the style of the car, we kept the body and interior and transformed it into a modern driving/riding Rest O Mod for her. The build cost was approximately $180,000.00 and took just under two years to complete. It would cost well over $250,000.00 to duplicate the car today. Over the time of her ownership, she drove the car just over 6,000 miles. When the car was not in use, it was stored in a tempature controlled garage in a plastic bag. A while back, my wife purchased a twin turbo Porsche and has not driven her 63 Coupe since. She recently told me she would probably not be driving the Coupe again. The car is a 971/2 out of 100 and deserves to by shown and driven.
