In 2000 to 2002, I replaced engine, transmission, driveshaft, interior, convertible top, top rams & cylinders, etc. The car was repainted in 2006. It was my daily driver from 2002 through 2010. I have made multiple trips from Texas to Colorado, Arizona, and Utah during the 00"s. The motor is a 1975 El Dorado 500 Cad engine. I had it bored 0.30 over and added Cad500 performance parts (oversize valves, drivetrain, rods, pistons, etc.). I bolted engine up to a TH400 transmission. Apprx mileage on engine & transmission is 14,000 miles. I have retained the original 390 engine and transmission. The car was originally purchased from Cadillac dealer in Oklahoma City. I bought the car from an individual in Dallas. During rebuild, I replaced one floor pan in rear footwell on the driver"s side. All remaining floors and trunk are good. The interior is leather. Front seat leather has wear. Rear does not. The passenger window rolls up slowly. The rear driver window is inop, may be switch or motor. Both should be examined for repair. Top works very good.
