Vehicle description

My 63 Buick Skylark Convertible has 95,140 meticulously maintained, garaged miles. Within the last few years it has the following: New Paint, trim removed and polished when painted, new top and boot, new top motor and hydraulic lines, new tires and new spare tire, rubber trim, rebuilt carburetor, transmission removed, checked and resealed, engine (215 V-8) checked out (good compression) with new valve cover gaskets and tuned up, new exhaust system, new brakes, cylinders and brake lines, all new bulbs, horn, and lens covers, etc. Well over $10k invested (not counting value of the car itself). Around 2k miles per year on average driven on pretty days only throughout the life of the car. Receipts, manuals included. This car is very solid. The interior is original and the driver’s seat needs attention. The 63 Skylark Convertible was a rare, one year body style with under 9k produced (around the same amount as the 1956 Chevy Nomad). The famous Bulletproof 215 engine is a pleasure to drive, along with automatic, smooth shifting transmission. My engine is the sought after (JN code) 215 with high compression and 4-barrel carburetor. British Rover bought the rights to this engine and used it 40 years. Top works beautifully. Everything works, even the original radio. It’s a blast to drive; no squeaks or rattles, only Buick comfort. My wife and I actually dated in a 63 Skylark convertible 50 years ago! Awesome cars. Unfortunately, I must sell mine due to my loss of garage space and I am unwilling to park it outside. I will consider ending the auction for $12,500 with a $500 Paypal deposit. If you wish to do this, please contact me before the bidding is near this point out of consideration for other bidders. I will store it locked in my garage and work with your shipper. Keep in mind that the car is 55 years old and is sold with no warranties. I have the right to end the auction early, as I am also advertising it in other venues. Buyer pays $500 Paypal deposit within 24 hours and full payment within 3 days in cash, wire transfer or cashiers check (I will release the car after funds clear). I welcome and encourage you to inspect and drive the car prior to bidding. Please call with questions: 239-404-5575.
