Vehicle description
1962 Willys Jeep CJ5 in good running and driving condition. I have tried to confirm whether or not this was a real US Forest Service Brush Truck but cannot provide documentation of it. I spoke to a previous owner who says he bought it from a fireman who bought it from a government auction in North Carolina but, I know, that and $10 will buy you a cup of coffee at Starbucks.
I"m confident that the roll cage is not correct and the water tank (plastic) is not correct but the radio, siren and bubble light seem correct as do other items. The siren and bubble light work and it"s a blast to light "em up. The pump on the water tank works as well.
The frame is solid but the floors and body have some rust. New wiring was installed by a PO. I have owned this Willys/Jeep for about 1.5 years and probably driven it less than 50 miles, hence I"m selling it. It is garage kept with Stabil added to the fuel and hooked up to a battery tender.
Clean and clear title in my name. Sold as-is, where-is. No warranty. Seller responsible for transportation. CASH ONLY! ! $500 deposit due via PayPal upon end of auction.
