Vehicle description

This TR3A quite simply is the nicest, cleanest, most rust-free Triumph I have seen in many years. It currently is a great driver but would also be an excellent candidate for a full restoration, it is simply that solid. For those looking for numbers the body numbers are EB67256 4071924 and the engine number is TS70913E. The previous owner did an outstanding job of rebuilding the front suspension, replacing the brakes, chrome, seat covers and having the car professionally repainted which involved removing the fenders and replacing all molding stainless. Note: The car still needs alignment as it is just close. It appears that this car has not had a frame off restoration and really doesn"t need it unless you just have to do it. I can find no rust ever in the floors, frame, trunk or spare tire compartment. The car has good windows, a fair top(needs a couple of patches, good top bow tonneau and a very nice, original metal hardtop. During the cosmetic refurbishment stainless exhaust was added along with a new battery, spin on oil filter, all four brakes, speedo and tach cables, tri-pod headlights, stainless light trim, starter solenoid, wind wings, tinted visors, four new tires, seat upholstery and seat tracks. The car still retains the original Triumph AM radio although I have never tried it. Factory heater and wipers function as do all the lights and gauges. Believe it or not the car leaks very little oil and no, it is not empty. I know little regarding the engine other than it starts and runs well, carries good oil pressure and does not overheat. Compression reading across the board hot were 145 +or- a few points. Is it a perfect, show ready car? Of course not, the underside is not shiny but an owner would certainly be proud of the appearance at any show. Yes, I know the wheels are the wrong color and although powder coating would be great, a spray can from Ace would be just fine. Included with the car will be a pile of manuals, catalogs along with a generous supply of extra parts mostly new from Moss. Of course the mileage has either exceeded limits over 100k and the car will need a license light lens. Our plans for the car have changed and we have to move on. This TR3A and a clear NYS title/transferable registration and a bill of sale and is in storage not currently registered. As always no test pilots and no trades on this one. Thanks
