Vehicle Details 1962 Triumph Herald. Condition is "Used". Car was in indoor controlled temperature storage for past 33 years. Original 948cc engine was rebuilt just before storage. Gasoline was removed from tank and engine was run until all gasoline lines and carburetor was consumed. Body was painted with Centauri acrylic enamel just before storage, but was not wet sanded. Chrome is in good but lightly pitted condition. Back seat bottom still needs to be upholstered (vinyl supplied). One window not installed. Interior door cards not installed. Convertible top installed, but all fasteners not yet installed. Front hood “Herald” script is missing. Most all parts are included for completion, and many spares included. Comes with extra (.020 over) machined 1200cc triumph herald spare disassembled engine (minus the crank), carburetor, clutch/pressure plate, starter, distributor, new pistons/rings/bearings, and transmission. Very rust free body, but floor pan behind drivers seat was a bit thin, and was fiberglassed to reinforce floor. Original rockers are very solid. Engine turns over, but I have not yet put any fuel into the system. Dent on rear bumper over-rider chrome pieces. Great candidate for a “driver”. Car needs mostly trim finishing to complete. Car must be picked up within 10 days of end of auction by buyer or buyers agent. Inspection prior to end of auction can be scheduled. Sale is final. Images Download the Motors app
