Vehicle description

Originally a 259 CI V8 Daytona, this car now has a rebuilt 1964289 CI V8 with 4-barrel AFB Carburetor. RebuiltFlightomatic automatic with 1 st gear start conversion and torque converterrebuilt (~2012). Dual Master cylinderand Turner front disc brakes make the car stop straight and fast. 3.31:1 Twin Traction rear axle. Rebuilt (~2014) power steering worksperfectly without leaks. Car was restored by Jim Turner (~2005), the same Jim thatsells the Studebaker Turner disc brake conversion kits, so you know it was donecorrectly. It was in Arizona until Ibought it in 2014. It is an extremely reliableand sorted driver that I have enjoyed for 6 summers.
The Lark shows very well at local car shows. It has won the orphan class multipletimes. It has always been stored insideand dry since the restoration. It has a recored 3 row radiator and thermostaticallycontrolled auxiliary cooling fan to stay cool and an auxiliary fuel pump tohelp instantly start the car every time. Power convertible top has no tears and it functions as itshould with new cylinders (2017) and no leaks. There is a red top cover included for when the top is down. Paint in very nice, with only minorimperfections from use. Glass was allreplaced at time of restoration and is perfect. Interior was replaced and is in good condition, but the carpet does havesome stains and fading from the top being down. A NOS 63 full gauge cluster was installed (original will come with car)and a working NOS clock was installed. The chrome is in good condition, but not concours. The wing windows were replated. The stainless throughout the car is shiny anddent free. Since I have owned it, I alsoreplaced the rear springs and tried to make the care as authentic as possible whileenjoying all the drivability and safety improvements. Caris located outside Buffalo, NY
