Vehicle description
This is a truck my late father purchased, with plans of changing the engine from a BB Dodge to a SB Chevy. He removed the Dodge engine and transmission but passed away before he could put the Chevy engine in the truck. My brother (who is a certified Master Mechanic) and I finished the installation. It is a 350 out of a late 1970"s Camaro. It appears to be stock except the carburetor and we know little about it other than it runs well and doesn"t smoke. The TH-350 transmission was rebuilt before the install and the whole combination has approx 100 miles since it was assembled.
The truck runs and drives but could probably use a tuneup. It has gathered some dirt since most of the pictures and needs some TLC.
It has been shortened 18", channeled 4" and tubbed. It has a narrowed Ford rearend. Looks to be a 9" but I"m not an expert and won"t guarantee that. Coilovers, fresh wiring, new radiator and electric fan, fresh exhaust. Includes new aluminum fuel cell that is not installed.
This could be a great streetrod for someone looking to get something they can drive now and add their touches to over time.
We"re just trying to get it out of our mother"s garage.

Thanks for looking.
