1962 Metropolitan 36,000 miles, great every day driver. Black and white (repaint), completely rebuilt brake system (DOT5), reconditioned bumpers and new bumper guards. All grill pieces. . replaced and/or re chromed. Heater core has been replaced as well as complete new wiring harness, and auxiliary working lighted gauges have been installed. Four new shocks and excellent tires. Electrical assist fuel pump added as well as a new fuel tank. Starter, generator, and carburetor have all been rebuilt. New clutch installed. This car runs great and has been a 100% dependable every day driver. The gas gauge is the only non working item. The car runs at 30-45 lb. oil pressure at all times according to the gauge. The mileage is thought to be original. This is a very straight bodied car with stainless trim, there are a couple of placed with flawed paint on hood and trunk lid, and small rust bubbles on lower right side door and rocker. Over all a very nice vehicle inside and out that runs great and is dependable as well as very fun to drive. Looks good, runs good, ready for adventure. All books, manuals, and literature included.
