This car really drives nice. It steers and stops better than you would expect! Approximately 6000 miles on professionally rebuilt original 292 Y-block engine and automatic transmission. Power steering, new drum brakes with dual master cylinder. Pertronics ignition .Alternator conversion. Red"s headers, new dual exhaust and Smithy"s mufflers. Lowered 2 inches with rear lowering blocks and new front shortened coils . New front suspension with 64 Galaxie lower control arms to replace the outdated and troublesome 62 bushing design. Rust-free body with amateur paint and body work. One soft spot on right side trunk floor, approximately 2 inch diameter. See picture. Really nice side chrome. Bumpers rechromed but have a few peeling spots around the bolts. I have a set of rocker moldings and clips for it but I liked it better without them. Mounting holes are still in rocker panels. 59 Cadillac LED taillights. Nice set of original full wheel covers and original air cleaner included. New interior, metalflake steering wheel, seat belts front and rear. Very roomy and comfortable. Hood needs to be adjusted better in the rear and there is a tick from the left header until it warms up. Radio is not hooked up and I don"t remember trying the heater. No other issues!
