Vehicle description
hello I"m selling my 1962 Lincoln Continental it is the four-door sedan suicide doors, I have had the automobile for about 10 years, it needs some work but not much to make a perfect driver all interior is black with no cuts, dashboard front and back no cracks, all door panels no cuts are cracks with the original wood inserts, the body is super solid with no rust coming through except for the hood which you can see in the photos,I would say that you need to buy a new hood at a cost of 800.00 from LINCOLN LAND auto parts in Clearwater FL there number is (727) 446-2193, all the glass is complete with no breaks are chips, it also need a gear box seal at a cost of 95.00, with this being out the wipers and the power steering does not work as it should, you can put the power steering fluid in, but it drips out of the gear box under the bottom this is were you would put the new seal. The brakes needs to be adjusted as well I wouldn"t touch the interior it"s all original, the power windows work fine, the AC doesn"t work but it does blow and the compressor engages when turned on, I unhook the hot post from the battery because it runs down , I had the generator checked and it was fine, might be the voltage regulator, it has 4 new Coker whitewall tires and a new dual exhaust put on, that is all I have ever done to this car since I first bought it, just haven"t had the time since i had back surgery, and now it just sits in the garage, please understand before bidding this is a very nice Lincoln for the price I promise you will not find another with the body and interior and motor in any better condition than this one for the price, not trying to up sell just being honest, if you price these parts and a mechanic gives you an outrages price to put them on he or she is being dishonest go to another, this is just basic mechanic work that i cant do anymore due to my injury if you are in the area you can come inspect it for yourself, if you have any questions please call me (409) 934-2638 Robert Ellis.
