I am selling my 1962 Jeep Willy’s CJ5. This jeeps drives down the road and freeway very smooth and steady. I can easily do 65 mph with no shaking or bouncing. The 3.8l 231ci motor runs strong and smooth. It has a three speed transmission with a warn overdrive. Two stick 4wd drive. This is a solid jeep. The underside has light surface rust you would expect from a 1962 jeep. Hard to list everything done but this thing really runs, drives and looks great. Below is a list of the items that are new or used and the year vehicle they came from. 1. New Dakota Digital instrument cluster. Accurate speed, fuel, oil, tach, water temp. 2. New rear bumper with swing away tire and hitch ordered for a 1984 CJ7. 3. New front bumper ordered for a 1984 CJ7. 4. New front LED bar light, LED flood lights at side mirrors, and rear floor lamps above spare tire. 5. New duel batteries, one dedicated to lights and wench. 6. New fuel tank and accessories ordered for a 1984 jeep cj7 installed with steel rock protection plate. 7. New 4wheel drive seats (durable waterproof cloth.) 8. New soft top with full doors that separate into half doors. 9. New rock sliders ordered for a 1984 CJ7 cut down to fit. 10. New mudder fender modified to fit. 11. All of the body armor is from flat stock aluminum diamond plate formed and painted. 12. New side mirrors from a 1994 Wrangler. 13. New wiring front to back w/new fuse block. 14. 5 new 31” tires and steel wheels. 15. New 90 amp alternator off a 70’s Buick 231ci motor. Standard was a 46 amp. 16. New rear leaf springs and shocks. 17. Brakes and wheel cylinders are about 2 years old. 18. New 9,000lb wench with nylon cable. 19. The steering column, linkage, and steering box are from a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee. 20. Power steering pump is from a 78 Buick la sabre 231ci motor. 21. New radiator 22. Jeep horn works. 23. WIFI back up camera. 24. Cargo rack that has been modified to fit this jeep. It is very used.
