About this vehicle This 1962 International Scout 80 is a restored vehicle. The owner has had it for 5 years. The vehicle runs great and is mainly used for weekend drives. Seller"s Notes This was used as a FL car to enjoy the weather. The heater components and door glass was removed, but can be provided to the buyer if they want them. Vehicle Details Originally purchased out of Oklahoma and has spent its life in the South. This clean 1962 International Scout 80 has spent the past few years as an ice cream getter and a beach runner in FL. It has the IH 152 4 cylinder with twin stick 3 speed. It has been alot of fun to drive around and always gathers a crowd on our journeys. Have put it in a couple local car shows just as a conversation piece. We have spent good family time tinkering on this as a working project. It shows well and has a unique look, but it is not perfect. Paint is good, but has a couple minor blemishes. Interior is also very clean for a car of this age. The Scout runs along nicely and handles pretty good for a 60 year old vehicle with manual steering. Starts up and idles nicely. The lights and auxiliary gauges function as well as the speedometer. Aftermarket gauges measure temp, oil pressure and amperage. Recently switched to a dual master brake cylinder which made them a little harder to apply than the single chamber original one.
